I'm a therapist and keep these in my office for anxious clients. The textured sides give something specific to focus on during grounding exercises — clients will rub the ridges while we talk through breathing. Four of them means I always have one clean to hand to someone who needs it mid-session. They hold up to constant handling much better than the smooth ones, which people just squeeze without engaging. No sticky residue, easy to wipe down between clients. Worth every penny for a practice.

Squishy and the texture is a nice touch. Only reason it's not 5 is after a month of heavy squeezing the ridges are starting to flatten a bit. Still a solid cube, holds its shape. Good for the desk, four of them means I keep one in each room.

The ridged texture on the sides is so satisfying to run your thumb over. Way better than a smooth cube.
