Perfect because I have two kids who both refuse to sleep in the dark. Each got one for their nightstand. The older one took the purple, the little one took the blue, and there has been zero negotiating since. They put them on the windowsill during the day so the sun charges them, then grab them at bedtime. The glow is soft enough that it does not keep them awake, but bright enough that they are not calling me in three times a night. The cubes are also squishy, which is a bonus for settling down. We have had them about two months and they charge up fine every day. Worth every penny for the peace of our evenings.

Two glow cubes, good deal. Only reason it is not 5 is the purple glows brighter than the blue, which is a little inconsistent. But both work after sitting by a window. Nice that you get two instead of one.
