I'm an OT and recommend this fuzz ball to patients who need tactile input. The combination of squish + soft fuzz works for people who don't engage with smooth gel toys — they'll actually pick this up and hold it. It's the right size to keep in a pocket or therapy bag, and the inner core is firm enough to give resistance when squeezed. Easy to wipe down between uses. Several of my adult clients with anxiety keep one at their desk. It's not for everyone, but for the right person it's way more effective than a plain stress ball.

Squishy and the fuzz is comfy. Only reason for 4 is it does shed a little bit the first week — you'll find fuzz on your clothes. It settled down after that. Still, way more satisfying than a plain gel ball for anyone who likes tactile stuff.

The fuzzy outside is so soft to run your fingers through. I keep it on the couch and pet it when I'm watching TV.
